It will not work until it updates itself to V1.5.7 and its new companion driver. Nahimic3 utility ver:1.4.15 is an old version. 5- Disable hibernation: open an elevated command prompt with 'run as administrator' and enter the command 'powercfg. (Fast Boot causes all sorts of problems, you can Google it). Realtek has released updated drivers to mitigate the potential vulnerability. 3- Install 'Realtek USB Audio Driver V.2307' from ASUS website. Step 2: In the Control Panel window, look for Realtek HD Audio Manager. If you still want to try and get Nahimic to work I would start from scratch. Step 1: Click in the Windows Search button, type Control Panel, and press Enter to launch it. Don't know how and probably can not do it again, so staying with what I have. It installed an older version, 1.17.230.0, of the Realtek Audio Console with the Sound Effects (equalizer, environment).
